SafeCharge’s Personalised Cashier Service Selected by SuperBet

SafeCharge (LON:SCH) a payment technologies provider for the financial services industry, has had its Personalised Cashier service selected by SuperBet, an online sports betting company in Romania, in a move to facilitate and handle its deposits and withdrawals, according to a SafeCharge statement.

The announcement is the second deal in less than a week in which SafeCharge has teamed up with a sports betting company, having signed a Payments partnership with Paddy Power Betfair earlier this month.

The latest accord saw SuperBet utilize SafeCharge's Personalised Cashier, a comprehensive service capable of delivering multiple approaches to assist clients in depositing and withdrawing their funds in a simplified manner across multiple currencies.

The decision to tap SafeCharge for its payment needs makes sense on several levels, given the group’s expertise in processing requests across multiple currencies. Sports betting sites have increasingly grown in popularity and across several European jurisdictions in recent years – SafeCharge stands to capture a large amount of business in the region given the flexibility of its service suite.

According to David Avgi, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of SafeCharge, in a recent statement on the selection: "As we continue to expand our technology based solutions to the leading sports betting companies such as SuperBet we are implementing our vision of improving every aspect of the deposit and withdrawal funnel.”

“SuperBet demonstrates their trust in SafeCharge by partnering with us to take their existing land-based business to the online world. We are continuously advancing our payments technology in order to provide merchants with solutions that will simplify their players' deposit and withdrawal journey," he added.

"We selected SafeCharge for their solid reputation in the online sports betting market. By supporting all payment methods that are available for our target markets, the unique customisation of their Personalised Cashier solution and robust fraud prevention services, we feel confident that SafeCharge will enable us to deliver a seamless and secure online offering to players," noted Sacha Dragic, CEO, SuperBet, in an accompanying statement.
