Trigger Finance, Inc. has launched a strategic partnership with brokerage Technology Provider TradeIt, integrating a series of trading capabilities and real-time functionality for retail FX traders into its mobile app. The collaboration will effectively link upwards of $1.0 billion in assets into Trigger Finance’s mobile app as well as access to Forex .com, facilitating the use of custom triggers across real-time market movements.

The deal will dramatically reshape Trigger Finance’s mobile app, supporting the assimilation of FX portfolios and currency trading directly into its interface. TradeIt represents the ideal conduit for Trigger, as the group connects developers to a growing list of leading brokerage firms via a single API.

On its part, TradeIt had already been diversifying its focus on multiple asset classes over the past six months, launching support of stocks and FX earlier this year – the development saw it initiate connectivity with the US’ largest FX broker FOREX.com.

TradeIt also is eyeing additional FX brokers in the pipeline in H2 2017, looking to bring more venues into its framework, as well as supporting multiple new asset classes. Presently, FX connectivity is live on Trigger iOS and it will also be deployed in the coming months across Trigger Android. The latest collaboration also follows an earlier initiative in 2016, which saw Trigger Finance and TradeIt join forces to enable equity broker connectivity.

Rachel Mayer

Rachel Mayer, co-founder and CEO of Trigger, commented on the deal: "We are excited to offer retail FX traders the same technology I had on Wall Street, for free and in the palm of their hand. Our natural-language rules that trigger on the Fed, Trump's tweets and so much more will encourage more automation and discipline for FX traders on the go."

"TradeIt's technology seamlessly connects traders to the markets and was a natural fit for our customers at FOREX.com, many of whom actively trade the news and other macro events. Trigger offers our customers the ability to easily execute trades on their FOREX.com account directly from their favorite app, which is a nice complement to our own suite of mobile trading apps,” explained Dina Badia, SVP FOREX.com Marketing.
