XTB, the global fintech giant, has expanded its reach in the UK by introducing an autoinvest functionality to its ETF-based Investment Plans.

According to the company, investors in the UK can engage in regular or automated investing options through multiple payments within the XTB app. This feature allows individual portfolios to be conveniently topped up, aligning with the preferred allocation set by the client.

XTB has initiated a new marketing campaign in the country to bolster the growth of Investment Plans, emphasizing the benefits of automated, long-term passive investing. The company maintains that the flexibility of adjusting investment allocations as per evolving needs and goals enhances its services to the investors.

Passive Portfolio Management

Joshua Raymond, the Director of XTB UK, mentioned: "In line with the approach' one app- many possibilities', we're growing our passive investing footprint to cater to the needs of long-term investors who don't want to spend much time on active portfolio management."

This move followed XTB's recent introduction of interest rates on uninvested funds, strengthening its commitment to expanding its services in passive investments. Under the Investment Plans, clients can create up to 10 portfolios, each comprising up to nine ETFs. The autoinvest functionality, a key feature of these plans, can be individually set up, modified, or canceled at any time through the XTB app.

XTB Expands Investment Plans Globally

Recently, XTB introduced Investment Plans to the UAE. Based in Poland, XTB has expanded this offering in Europe, gaining traction in markets like Romania, Portugal, Slovakia, and Poland. This success has prompted the platform to extend its offerings to retail investors in the UAE.

The Investment Plans enhance ETF investments by providing pre-made portfolios tailored to investors' risk appetites. Starting at $15, investors can choose from up to 9 ETFs covering various assets and geographies.

XTB MENA has been in operation since October 2021 and has been on a continuous growth trajectory. Initially offering basic FX/CFD instruments, the platform expanded to cryptocurrencies in 2022 and added stocks to its suite of products in 2023.

In a recent report by Finance Magnates, Omar Arnaout, the CEO of XTB, mentioned: "Thanks to modern technology and the use of algorithmic trading, our clients can now invest a chosen amount regularly." He added that XTB is broadening its services for people keen on investing but short on time for hands-on management.
