BMLL, an independent provider of harmonized data and analytics across equity and futures markets, has revealed an addition to its product suite, the Cboe Europe Indices. This development enriches the existing Cboe historical data for US, Europe and Japan currently provided in BMLL's offerings.

With the incorporation of these new data sets, BMLL continues to deliver on its strategic mission of extending data coverage and fostering the growth of market participants. Recently, the company broadened its market reach to include South Africa and APAC.

"We are excited to add Cboe Europe Indices data to our global data coverage,” Paul Humphrey, the CEO of BMLL, commented. “Our clients and market participants overall are demanding increasingly comprehensive data sets to understand market behavior, and we are delighted to provide them with the insights they need to make more informed trading decisions."

The inclusion of Cboe Europe Indices in the BMLL suite is now accessible through various channels: the BMLL Data Lab, BMLL Data Feed, and BMLL Vantage. Each provides a unique set of functionalities aimed to ease the burden of data sourcing, curation, and engineering. The goal is to provide clients with BMLL Data Lab’s analytics capabilities in the form of derived data feeds.

Users of BMLL's services comprise an array of market players, such as banks, brokerage firms, asset managers, hedge funds, and regulatory authorities. These stakeholders have the advantage of accessing highly detailed Level 3, T+1 order book data on a worldwide scale. Moreover, they benefit from sophisticated analytics both before and after the trade execution.

These indices employ a unified methodology, pricing system, and corporate action data, making them perfectly suited for comparative evaluations, trend tracking, and trading analysis.

"We are delighted that BMLL is expanding its use of Cboe’s data within its product suite to include Cboe Europe Indices. Cboe Europe Indices provide a cost-effective solution for market participants looking for high-quality index data," Natan Tiefenbrun, the President of Cboe Europe, said.

BMLL Eyes Expansion with New Hires and Data Coverage

In a move to further expand its business, BMLL is focusing on growing its team of professionals and covered markets. Recently, it extended its reach into Asian markets and incorporated Level 3 data from CBOE Japan, Japannext, and Singapore Exchange. This expanded coverage of Asian exchanges is poised to benefit both buy-side and sell-side execution firms.

Earlier this year, Jenny Chen joined the company as the Head of Sales for the Americas, following the appointment of Rob Laible as the Head of the Americas. These positions demonstrate BMLL's commitment to amplifying its presence in the United States.

In the previous year, this independent provider of historical Level 3 data and analytics for international equity and futures markets successfully completed its Series B funding round, securing $26 million in investments.
