Finance Magnates can confirm that David Hastings has been appointed as Managing Director at Price Markets UK. According to Hastings’ LinkedIn, the industry veteran joined the FX prime brokerage and infrastructure service provider this May.

Hastings joins Price Markets from Whispers FX where he was a director since January of 2017. Whispers FX is an FX consultancy that enables financial technology firms to outsource their sales and marketing efforts.

Having worked for Shell as a treasury consultant, Hastings earned his stripes in the FX industry working for Lava Trading as Head of Relationship Management in the early 2000s. He then spent several years with State Street Global Markets, working on global strategic relationships.
