The total order book turnover from Deutsche Börse’s Xetra, Börse Frankfurt and Tradegate Exchange trading venues reached €1.8 trillion during the first seven months of 2022 alone. This is in sharp contrast to the €1.9 trillion generated across all the three venues in 2021.

The Germany securities markets operator disclosed these in its cash market trading statistics for 2022 published on Monday. Deutsche Börse stopped including Tradegate Exchange’s trading volumes in its calculation in August as the stock exchange “is no longer consolidated due to changes in the ownership structure,” the pan-European exchange explained.
