The Dubai Gold and Commodities Exchange (DGCX) has announced a partnership with global network, Cloud and Hosting provider, BSO Network Solutions. The strategic endeavor behind the deal is for clients of the exchange to get a much faster access to the marketplace.

Clients will have access to BSO Network Solutions's range of specialist connectivity services, including Market Data Connect. The solution aims to secure access to valuable market data without the need for a dedicated connection.

Commenting in the announcement, Michael Ourabah, CEO at BSO Network Solutions, said, “The partnership also acts as a major competitive differentiator for trading firms interested in widening their portfolios.”

The partnership is likely to boost DGCX's market proposition. Having a network provider which is aligned with the exchange and works on constantly optimizing network routes for the benefit of its clients is a must for any exchange, especially in a region which is somewhat challenged when it comes to latency.

The DGCX also now possesses the capability to significantly increase the trading volumes it can handle, playing an important role in the attractiveness of its offering to global financial institutions.

The Chief Technology Officer at DGCX, Basab Banerjee, explained, “We recognised the need for a network partner with the capability to provide both the lowest latencies in the market, as well as an extremely high level of service.”
