The New York Stock Exchange , owned by Intercontinental Exchange Inc. (NYSE: ICE), has unveiled further enhancements to NYSE Connect, catering specifically to investor relations specialists in a bid to streamline customization of reports on stock performance globally, including real-time trade data in their home country, according to a NYSE statement.

More specifically, the newly expanded package will include access to real-time prices based on the exchange’s BQT tape (Best Quote and Trades). As part of the new offering launch is the roll-out of an in-depth FactSet for the company's fundamentals and consensus estimates.

Another update for NYSE Connect, which will be rolled out with other enhancements next month, will allow user to access non-US market data for companies listed or dually-listed on other exchanges such as Brazil, Canada, Germany and Israel.

Offered free to issuers, NYSE Connect is an intuitive platform that enables access to exclusive information, data, insights, webinars on capital markets, corporate governance, economics through desktops, tablets and mobile applications.

The new version will enhance the product through offering real-time price quotes, analyst consensus estimates, ownership information, live streaming CNBC, the NYSE order book, short interest, equity options data, advanced charting functions, Excel downloads for financial modeling and more.

Intercontinental Exchange has recently announced several enhancements to its ICE Data Services, intended to strengthen its position as the industry’s third-largest data vendor, behind Bloomberg and Thomson Reuters.

Commenting on the release, Demetrios Skalkotos, V.P., Head of Desktop Solutions at ICE Data Services, said: “We’re pleased to deliver further enhancements to the next generation of NYSE Connect, and we are already working on the next phase of development to enhance the functionality.”

“We’ll be rolling out further tools for trading analysis, order book, detailed estimates, shareholder Analytics and fundamentals. The ability to add more fields and reports offers more access to comprehensive prices which is particularly important when markets are volatile,” he added.
