SGX, a provider of different services related to securities and derivatives trading, has just reported its volumes measures across its derivatives and commodities business for the month ending July 2016, as reported by Finance Magnates.

ZICO Capital is a subsidiary of Catalist-listed ZICO Holdings, an integrated network of professional services firms focused on the ASEAN region, providing advisory and transactional, together with management, support and licensing services.

Mohamed Nasser Ismail, Head of Equity Capital Market (SME) and Head of Capital Market Development at SGX, said: “We are delighted that ZICO Capital has come on board as both accredited Issue Manager for Mainboard listings and Full Sponsor for Catalist listings. We look forward to ZICO Capital bringing companies to list on both SGX Mainboard and Catalist which offer distinct advantages for companies at different growth stages.”

We anticipate a growth in cross-selling opportunities which will broaden our client base and our overall revenue streams.

As an accredited issue manager, ZICO Capital will be able to advise companies seeking an SGX Mainboard listing, whereas being a Catalist Full Sponsor allows it to advise companies on a Catalist listing and supervise Catalist-listed companies post-listing.

Chew Seng Kok, Managing Director of ZICO Holdings, added: “We have continued to expand our suite of highly complementary professional services and are now able to provide clients with advice and services on corporate finance and the capital markets. With these developments, we also anticipate a growth in cross-selling opportunities which will in turn broaden our client base and consequently, our overall revenue streams.”

The addition of ZICO Capital brings the total number of SGX-accredited issue managers to 44 and the Catalist Sponsor pool to 13 Full Sponsors and 5 Continuing Sponsors comprising of 92 Registered Professionals.
