IR managers depend on a wealth of data and information, helping identify shareholder structure, beneficial holders, investment decision makers, and vote mandate holders. CMi2i’s solutions include both public and non-public shareholder data and information, both of which will be assimilated into the Bloomberg Terminal.

Robert Friend, Global Head of Sell-Side Solutions and Research at Bloomberg, commented: “We are delighted to work with CMi2i to provide investor relations managers with access to shareholder identification services on the Bloomberg Terminal. In combination with the market intelligence and ability to connect with local and international capital market participants offered by Bloomberg, CMi2i’s services allow us to provide a comprehensive IR offering.”

New IR functionality

Indeed, the combined focus on data and shareholder information is helpful for market and news intelligence. This information is extremely pertinent to IR managers in particular, as well as oversight groups, analysts, and general investors looking to better understand market trends. Combined with CMi2i’s data, Bloomberg Terminal will also look to benefit from its largest data feed to date, with its services suite helping IR managers on a global basis.

Bloomberg’s IR solutions already cater to a broad global market intelligence community. By feeding this information to analysts, groups are better able to discern specific trends across investor and capital structure information, as well as an emphasis on earnings and estimates data and market-moving news.

“We are delighted to enter this collaboration, which will enable us to offer access to our bespoke analysis and research directly through Bloomberg’s market-leading Terminal, to the considerable benefit of our mutual clients,” added Mark Simms, CEO of CMi2i.
