Cboe Global Markets today announced that its EDGX Depth market data product is now available for distribution across dxFeed Bookmap, a financial data visualization and Trading Platform with heatmap technology.
The agreement will extend the relationship between the two parties and provide investors using the information vendor’s solutions with access to data from top US exchanges.
EDGX serve as a major transaction venue of U.S. cash equities trading and one of the top exchange destination for retail order flow from the largest discount brokerage houses.
Both firms said the partnership is the result of high demand from retail and institutional investors looking to gain deeper insights into the U.S. equities market on a single platform.
VP of market data at Cboe explained that dxFeed Bookmap is a significant distribution channel for EDGX Depth real-time stock quote and trade information. Coupled with dxFeed’s colored heatmap technology, traders will be able to delve deeper into market dynamics to see order book, transaction and price movement, empowering them to make better decisions with new information.
The combined offering also allows users to detect hidden patterns, understand the situation and Liquidity at every price level, arming them with a more robust offering that greatly increases the visibility and adoption of market data.
