Nasdaq has beefed up its Analytics suite with the addition of an Investor Relations (IR) platform, tapped IR Insight, which acts as a versatile module that caters to IR officers and financial executives, per a recent Nasdaq statement.

Nasdaq’s IR Analytics boasts a variety of strategic intelligence and support decision-making capabilities for multiple players in the financial services industry. In particular, the new platform will aim to help support an ongoing rollout of Nasdaq’s technology, as well as concessions to its development in the big data space.

The new platform will rely in part on machine learning to help fortify its advisory services, which will help provide IR officers with tools such as data visualization and application management, among other functions.

Nasdaq has targeted an August 2016 release for the IR Analytics platform, with an additional rollout of upgrades and iterations scheduled for successive quarters. The launch is ultimately an important tool for IR officers who are constantly working to utilize the most comprehensive and versatile tools at their disposal.
