Perseus, a provider of global managed services and high-speed connectivity, has announced the availability of its new self-service portal, My.Perseus. The platform will be available to all Perseus clients and will enable a streamlined and fully automated process for self-provisioning and support.

Finance Magnates last reported on Perseus in September after the company announced that preparations to offer the most direct network path between key financial data centres in Chicago and Tokyo with a round trip latency below 120ms were underway.

The client portal is fully integrated and allows clients to buy capacity and services on demand, with the click of a button, while simplifying pricing inquiries, new order generation while offering the ability to review and approve new orders directly online.

Clients will benefit from significantly reduced delivery timelines, increased transparency through the service delivery process with anticipated delivery dates and status updates for all in-flight orders, as well as communication tools to interact with a dedicated service delivery manager.

We’ve chosen to share all of our internal data with our clients to provide them with real-time and on-demand updates.

In addition, PrecisionView monitoring tools provide real-time access to live performance statistics, usage history and other valuable Analytics that drive prioritisation and network spend.

Vinko Grskovic, Vice President of Automation and Architecture at Perseus, commented: “We’ve chosen to share all of our internal data with our clients to provide them with real-time and on-demand updates pertaining to their network by eliminating the need for human interaction. Internally, this provides us with additional information on what data our clients really want and will enable us to provide new and impactful insights in the future.”

Overlaying its low latency global network with next-generation software defined networking technology has allowed Perseus to create the world’s largest commercially-available software-defined network (SDN) as well as laying the foundations for My.Perseus, empowering clients to view and control their network using software anytime and from anywhere.

With clients spanning the financial, digital commerce, media and iGaming sectors, Perseus offers a fully managed suite of services across the trade lifecycle, as well as many of the world’s fastest market-to-market routes. The company also offers proximity Hosting for over 500 exchanges globally.
