Horizon Software, the global technology company focused on electronic trading, has announced a rebrand to Horizon Trading Solutions. The company, which has been operating for over 20 years, supports agency and principal businesses across equities and derivatives.

Now known as Horizon Trading Solutions, the rebranded firm aims to bolster its electronic trading offering, supporting agency and principal trading desks on one platform across equities and derivatives.

The rebrand includes a new visual identity featuring an updated logo, typography, color palette, and imagery. The company's website has also been redesigned to reflect the new brand and improve user experience.

According to Sylvain Thieullent, the CEO of Horizon Trading Solutions, the rebrand represents “a key part of the company's development while maintaining its heritage and history in the industry.”

Horizon Trading Solutions plans to continue bolstering its electronic trading offering, supporting clients in adapting to regulatory changes, pivoting to new opportunities, and positioning itself as a provider of trading solutions and professional services to markets across Europe, Asia Pacific, The Middle East, and North America.

The rebranding initiative comes as the company has experienced accelerated global growth over the past year, driven by rising demand for its trading solutions and built-for-purpose technology offering. An example is the certification for Montreal Exchange derivatives trading signed last year.

“We are committed to driving positive change and adding new value for our customers, employees, and stakeholders. The team are greatly looking forward to the next stage of the company,” Thieullent concluded.

Horizon Expands into New Markets and Launches New Products

Also, in 2023, the provider of algorithmic and electronic trading technology solutions established a direct connection with the Singapore Exchange within just six months of its official launch in Singapore. This connectivity allows Horizon's customers to engage with various financial markets, create a market for ETFs and execute hedging strategies more efficiently.

In addition to expanding into Singapore, Horizon Software has launched a new cross-asset electronic platform called Horizon Extend. This platform empowers customers to customize pricing models and hedging tools, streamline processes, and create a more flexible and transparent trading environment.

Additionally, Horizon Software has partnered with Santander Bank Polska, whose brokerage arm became the first Introducing Market Makers on Horizon's platform for the “Global Connect” equity market organized by the Warsaw Stock Exchange.
