Horizon Software, an algorithmic and electronic trading technology solution provider, has announced an update to its cross-asset electronic platform Horizon Extend. This year, the company wants to focus on developing its agency and principal trading solutions.
Horizon Extend with New Module Updates
Horizon Extend allows clients to customize pricing modules and hedgers, automate workflows, and create a more transparent and flexible trading environment. Additionally, the platform supports the development of advanced routing rules for direct market access (DMA) and allows clients to manage trading risk and compliance .
In 2023, the company plans to expand its Trading-as-a-Service (TasS) offering, increase the number of asset classes covered, and improve its handling of high-volume order flows. The CTO, Olivier Masdebrieu, states the company's goal is to offer both a development and trading platform , with a focus on helping clients tailor solutions to their needs.
"Helping our clients develop the right functions to fit their needs is our priority, using either our modules or developing their own. Our developers are using the same tools to build our solutions, so we know it works, and we continue to focus our attention on improving our offering," he commented in a press release published on Tuesday.
Horizon Software Supports Capital Markets for 20 Years
For more than two decades, the provider of electronic trading solutions has been building algorithmic trading technology and currently provides access to more than 80 exchanges worldwide.
As part of the expansion of its offering, it has partnered with the brokerage arm of Santander Bank Polska, which became the first introducing market maker for the Warsaw Stock Exchange (WSE) 'Global Connect' equity market. In the new market launched by the WSE, shares from around the world are listed by introducing market makers without approval from the issuer.
"Thanks to the existing Horizon Market Making platform, it was possible for Santander to go live on the new Global Connect market without any additional development on the Front Office side. [The ] existing platform composed of Market Data handlers, Pricing and Quoting automatons, WSE Market Gateway and Position Management modules were fully leveraged for a seamless integration with Global Connect," Alexandre Chriqui, the Client Success Manager at Horizon Software, said.
