Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), a prominent operator of global exchanges and clearinghouses, announced on Tuesday that it became an official partner of the McLaren MX Extreme E Team. According to the press release, the team races new all-electric series featuring male and female drivers.
A series of events at the New York Stock Exchange, an ICE exchange, will kick off the multi-year partnership between ICE and McLaren Racing on Tuesday, with McLaren Racing's CEO Zak Brown, driver Tanner Foust and engineer Leena Gade ringing the Closing Bell.
The Number 58 McLaren Extreme E race car will be displayed at NYSE’s Experience Square in Lower Manhattan on Tuesday morning to showcase the partnership’s focus. On Tuesday afternoon, Stephanie Dobbs Brown, ICE's CMO, will host McLaren Racing's CEO, Zak Brown, McLaren MX Extreme E Driver, Tanner Foust, and McLaren Racing's Senior Principal Race Engineer, Leena Gade for a press conference in the NYSE’s Board Room before ringing the Closing Bell on the Trading Floor.
