The European Institute of Management and Finance (EIMF), a financial education provider to the professional sector, announced on Monday that it has formed a partnership with Complyport - a London-based consulting firm that specializes in compliance, governance, and risk.

According to the EIMF, the partnership will enable the two companies to provide professional training services in the fields that Complyport specializes in. Attendees to any of the courses offered via the partnership will be taught about Compliance , governance, and risk based on regulations in the European Union and the United Kingdom.

Experts on those regulations will do face-to-face workshops, using interactive exercises, discussions and case studies. Professionals also won’t have to physically attend sessions, with eLearning initiatives allowing them to study courses online.

Complyport Leading the Charge

The first two seminars will be held in London on the fourth and seventh of December. The first will address conduct reporting and the second will tackle the Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive (AIFM).

After those two seminars have taken place, the courses will be, as noted, a mixture of face-to-face events and some online courses.

The courses will be led in part by Complyport’s CEO - Paul Grainger. With more than 35 years experience in regulatory and compliance divisions, Grainger, who has been CEO of Complyport since 2014, will be leading the charge in developing the new course with EIMF.
