The Field Effect focuses on creating value for financial services firms and their clients. In this particular case, the partnership will look to assist clients in adapting to changes of regulatory requirements.
One of the regulatory initiatives is the Securities Financing Transaction Regulation (SFTR), which strives to improve transparency of securities financing transactions (SFTs).
As in any balanced partnership, each side brings value to the deal, with Delta Capita providing technology and data, as well as integration solutions, managed service experience and consortia management capabilities.
Meanwhile, The Field Effect also provides its share of benefits to the partnership, including strategy, operating model, road mapping and business case expertise.
David Field, founder and Managing Director of The Field Effect, commented on the newly formed alliance: “The combination of our respective strengths will serve to provide both our clients with the very best of solutions spanning consulting advice, technological solutions & delivery, and managed services.”
Also providing remarks on the partnership, Joe Channer, founder and CEO of Delta Capita, said: “We are delighted to announce this strategic alliance with The Field Effect. SFTR is a very significant piece of regulation impacting almost every aspect of the trade lifecycle. It requires changes to operating models, considerable data engineering programmes and new technology solutions to address these challenges. This collaboration will allow both our firms to best service their respective clients and meet the inbound interest by offering a full scope service at scale.”
He added: “Delta Capita is highly experienced at facilitating industry consortia and in creating and managing shared industry platform solutions. Meeting the SFTR requirements has created some common challenges across the industry and we are evaluating collaborative and mutualised models designed to help the industry meet its regulatory commitments in the most cost effective and efficient way.”
Last month, Delta Capita made a move to address challenges pertaining to SFTR, by creating a similar partnership with NEX Regulatory Reporting. Today’s announced partnership with The Field Effect is another step toward improving the process.
