Speakerbus unveils that ADMISI has chosen its iTurrent communications solution.
Leading provider of mission-critical voice collaboration solutions to more than a 1000 Global Fortune companies, Speakerbus, today announced that ADM Investor Services International (ADMISI) has chosen its iTurret solution for their London-based specialist voice broking business.
The company has 85 years of operation in the U.K. and is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Arthur Daniel Midlands (ADM), with additional businesses globally supporting the commodity and derivatives markets including foreign Exchange .
Our legacy platform was no longer able to meet the business demands of our trading environment and the total ownership costs were too high.
Specialist telephony solution
The addition of Speakerbus’ iTurrets, will help power the communication needs, in real-time, for ADMISI’s brokers with both within the company and with counterparties, according to the announcement. The solution is described as specialist telephony that helps colleagues and departments via its hoot ‘n’ holler and private line access functionality, among other one-touch tools available within the iTurret product simply with the push of a button.
Speakerbus CEO, Patrick McCullough, added in the statement regarding the deal: “We are delighted to have ADMISI as a client, and to add them to our roster of clients in asset management. As the fastest-growing trading turret company, we are seeing more and more financial institutions having to wrestle with similar challenges to those at ADMISI."
Mr. McCullogh added regarding recent observed industry trends in voice broking: "They are looking to replace costly legacy dealerboards and maximise their existing investment in UC infrastructure. The iTurret is designed to operate with the highest level of interoperability with Cisco and other leading UC platforms, to ‘best fit’ into an organisation’s existing communications infrastructure with ease and efficiency.”
We have made a significant investment in a Cisco UC infrastructure and sought a dealerboard solution that would allow us to fully Leverage this investment.
Need arose after Cisco UC
After ADMISI integrated Cisco’s Unified Communications (UC) infrastructure, the need arose for an open voice solution that would tie together the company’s communication systems in a seamless manner and help lead to the deal with Speakerbus.
With over 30 years experience in the turret space, Speakerbus has managed to include a number of open source solutions, in addition to the suite of products under its iServices offering, with the aim of helping firms save on cost, compliance, and operational efficiency.
Commenting in a corporate statement, Paul Weygang, Head of IT at ADM Investor Services International, said: “Our legacy platform was no longer able to meet the business demands of our trading environment and the total ownership costs were too high. We have made a significant investment in a Cisco UC infrastructure and sought a dealerboard solution that would allow us to fully leverage this investment."
Mr. Weygang added: “The interoperability of Speakerbus’ iTurret with our Cisco platform enables us to achieve far greater flexibility from an operational standpoint.”
