Bank of America (BofA) Merrill Lynch has appointed Martin Mills has its newest head of Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) product solutions.

In his new role as the EMEA head of product solutions at BofA Merrill Lynch, Mr. Mills will be replacing John Cavanagh, who relinquished the role nearly a month ago. He will be reporting directly to both Fernando Vicario and Marc Tempelman, co-heads of EMEA corporate banking and debt capital markets at the US lender.

As the head of EMEA product solutions, Mr. Mills will be tasked with focusing on the bank’s management, capital products, ratings advisory for a number of financial institutions, Green bonds, and commercial paper origination.

M.r Mills joined BofA Merrill Lynch in 1999 from Moody's, having previously headed BofA Merrill Lynch’s EMEA financial institutions ratings advisory and EMEA Green bond origination, according to a recent Reuters statement.
