Electronic trading giant Interactive Brokers announced on Wednesday that it is working with Marstone, a digital wealth platform provider, to launch a new turnkey wealth management solution.
“Interactive Brokers is well known for its best-in-class Trading Platform and is smartly establishing the same reputation amongst other client segments through ambitious digital projects and partnerships,” said Margaret Hartigan, CEO and Founder, Marstone. “As a growing, global, and truly digital-first company, Interactive Brokers is an inspiration. They maintain an aggressive pace of innovation and believe in a future filled with empowered clients making informed decisions about their finances.”
According to a statement released by the two firms on Wednesday afternoon, Interactive Brokers is going to be integrating its clearing, custody, and Execution services with Martsone’s digital wealth platform.

Wealth management is a curious term in that people will have a rough idea as to what you are talking about but not be sure exactly what it is you mean.
In the case of Marstone, the company’s platform allows a user to see their investments, move their cash from one place to another and see what their assets and liabilities are. It also analyses an investor’s answers to a series of questions, determining their risk appetite and then advises them on what to invest in.
That latter part is significant for any financial institution that wants to use the solution as it can allow them to encourage investment in their own models or specific exchange traded funds.
