Metaquotes announces Hotspot FXi Integration Gateway

Metaquotes is on fire lately: lately releasing the long awaited iPhone app for its MT4 platform, connecting MT5 to CitiFX Pro’s liquidity and integrating with Singapore exchange among many other things.

Our company is pleased to announce the release of the gateway, which allows to integrate MetaTrader 5 trading platform with one of the largest ECN systems - Hotspot FXi. ECN (Electronic Communication Network) is an electronic system allowing to trade commodities. All orders entered in ECN are transferred to the unified requests database. The system selects appropriate orders automatically executing opposite orders with matching parameters (symbol, price etc.).

Hotspot FX provides independent and transparent ECN marketplace structure for performing trading operations. Key features include full depth-of-book view, centralized price discovery (finding the best price among all providers), direct and anonymous market access, performing trading operations in a timely manner, transmission of quotes stream in real-time mode.

MetaTrader 5 Hotspot Gateway allows a brokerage company to transfer trading operations performed within MetaTrader 5 platform to ECN system. This will attract many customers who trade using HotSpot FXi. In addition, the gateway provides the ability for brokerage companies to earn additional income by automatically rearing the prices (spread increase) transmitted from ECN to the platform.

The following financial assets can be traded via Hotspot FX:

• Currency pairs: about 40 basic currency pairs and approximately 20 additional ones.
• Precious metals: XAGUSD and XAUUSD.
