MT5 Integrates with Hotspot FX

MetaQuotes Software Corp. announces the integration of its MetaTrader 5 Trading Platform with Knight Hotspot FX, an institutional foreign exchange ECN offering deep Liquidity in more than 60 currency pairs plus gold and silver with speed, competitive pricing, full depth-of-book transparency and complete anonymity.

The MetaTrader 5 integrates with Knight Hotspot FX through a new gateway, which was developed by MetaQuotes Software Corp. Now MetaTrader 5 brokers receive additional means for covering risk, and traders can access better prices.

MetaQuotes is consistently moving towards developing integration of MetaTrader 5 with various liquidity providers in the Forex market. The platform is already integrated with well-known providers such as CitiFX Pro and Currenex.

"We are constantly developing native functionality into MetaTrader 5 to satisfy the demand that derives from the vast majority of MetaTrader brokers," states Gaies Chreis, COO of MetaQuotes Software Corp. "Having introduced the MetaTrader 5 Hotspot FX Gateway in our trading platform, we believe that we are adding value to our brokers that already have a business relationship with both MetaQuotes and Hotspot FX."

Hotspot FX's ECN market structure is underpinned by robust, award winning technology to ensure instantaneous trade executions, immediate trade confirmations, real-time position updates and seamless post-trade STP. Firms can access the Hotspot FX platform via its trading interface as well as by its Live Linkยฎ integration suite, which includes a proprietary API and FIX gateway.

"Hotspot's integration with MetaTrader is an opportunity to expand our wholesale offering to the MetaTrader global forex trading community," said John Miesner, Managing Director and Head of Global Sales for Knight Hotspot FX. "Hotspot is excited to provide access to a diverse liquidity pool customized to meet the specific needs of MetaTrader's global retail FX traders."
