EBS FX Volumes Down 18%, Overall ICAP Numbers Down Slightly
- Following a weak July, ICAP's EBS FX trading division came through with worse results. Falling 12% from July's multi-year low trading volume, the current results cast doubt on whether recent trading conditions changes are working.

FX is Weakest Link During Strong Month of CME Volumes
- The CME Group has posted its total trading volumes for August. During the month, total futures and options volumes rose 12.5% MoM to 238,980,256 contracts. In FX, volumes fell 7.7% from July's figures.

Eurex Exchange to Launch FX Futures
- German based Eurex Exchange plans to launch currency futures in October. The firm will offer both major & emerging market FX pairs including EUR USD and USD RUB. Regulators are lobbying for OTC products to trade on listed venues post 2008 crisis.

Thomson Reuters and FXall Register FX Volume Records and Highs During June
- Thomson Reuters has released June FX trading volumes for both its FX spot platform as well as at FXall. During June, average daily volumes (ADV) at Thomson Reuters rose 5% MoM to $147 billion, the highest since May 2012.

- Following solid FX trading figures from the CME Group, the IntercontinentalExchange (ICE) has reported its own set of stellar results for June. During the just concluded month, average daily volumes of its FX products were 59,919 contracts.
