Titled “Fintech decoded: disruptive tech in capital markets”, the masterclass will assess the impact and role that technology has played in the shaping of modern day capital markets, taking a look at the history of how and why we got to this modern day phenomenon, and how some of the best developers in the world have gravitated to this fast paced industry.

“Disruption over the last two decades across equities, FX and now crypto markets, has meant increasingly advanced solutions have had to evolve to keep pace with both consumer and regulatory demand. What was once possible to convey by hand signals, is now replaced by acres of hardware servers catering for 2500 price updates per second.” Mr Bunce commented.

“We are excited to share in the narrative behind the riveting world of fintech, at what Forbes has called “the best technology conference on the planet”. A celebration of brilliant minds and innovation, the Web Summit is a natural place for us to be, and we look forward to seeing what this year has in store for everyone.”
