Barchart, a provider of financial market data and technology, announced on Tuesday that it has appointed Colleen Sheeren as Head of Marketing. This is a promotion for Sheeren, who was previously the Marketing Manager for the company.
Sheeren started working at Barchart in 2015 as a Marketing Associate. She joined the company from Horizon Cash Management where she worked as a Marketing Assistant. In her new role, she will be responsible for all day-to-day and strategic marketing efforts. This includes advertising, social media digital and event management. She will be reporting to Barchart’s CEO, Mark Haraburda.

Commenting on the new position, Sheeren said: “I am honored to be named as Barchart’s Head of Marketing. Barchart is a provider of market data and services to global financial, media and commodity industries. Each year the company has an annual event, the Fintech Exchange (FTX). This event focuses on technology innovation for the financial markets and trading. In her new role, Sheeren will be one of the key organisers of this event.
