According to sources with knowledge of the matter the Head of Marketing of ThinkForex (TF) Global Markets based in London, Stefan Lucas has parted ways with the company. A spokesperson for ThinkForex has denied the information, however multiple reports to Finance Magnates are suggesting that Mr Lucas has indeed left the company.
Stefan initially joined the London branch of ThinkForex back in September 2014 – during his tenure, his main tasks entailed the steering and development of the group’s global marketing ambitions.
As ThinkForex’s Group Head of Marketing, he also worked in a number of roles across both sales and marketing, building upon his vast experience including the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), Asia-Pacific (APAC), and US realms.
Mr. Lucas has been a mainstay in the foreign Exchange (FX) industry for nearly a decade, having worked in a multitude of roles at several leading brokers and firms. Prior to joining TF Global Markets in 2014, Mr. Lucas held a series of senior level marketing and FX positions at notable stops such as IG Group, Alpari Group, Merrill Lynch, and CMC Markets.
Back in November, ThinkForex made headlines after it expanded its UK offering with spread betting and insurance protection of £1m per client, underwritten by QBE Underwriting Limited and other participating syndicates at Lloyd’s of London. This also coincided with the launch of a new spread-betting offering on the MT4 Trading Platform to provide the market with a more localised offering.
